GLPS is a Windows based load planning system for unit carrying ships.

GLPS is a tool for achieving maximised utilisation of a transportation system and contains all relevant components needed in a load planning system. However, the final design of each of these is customised in order to meet the specific requirements of a customer. The basic components of the system are:

Integration of booking, voyage and terminal planning with load and discharge operations.
Communication facilities for exchange of information.
Graphical user interface for easy use.
Trim, heel, stability and stress calculations.

GLPS is built up in modules in order to enable flexibility and customisation. This makes it possible to meet the specific requirements of different users. Because of the modularity of GLPS it can be adjusted to different types of ships such as:

 RoRo ships
 Car carriers
 Container carriers
 Open hatch paper carrier
